What if Cinderella never lived happily ever after?

I'm not in the mood to write an entire article today- so I'm going to babble about what's on my mind at the moment... okay? Good.

Hmm, more like a journal entry:

Mood: Confuzzled and Hurt
Current Weather: Windy. Hot. Annoying.
Currently listening to: Halo by Beyonce
Thought of the day: Why can't I be different?

I'm going to share a new poem I wrote yesterday...

Her Masquerade

She needs no sequins-
no glitter of the fools.
She laughs with her friends-
her smile, the greatest tool.

She's forced to waltz-
to an unfamiliar beat.
In the rhythm of life-
she can't even compete.

She met her Prince Charming-
or so she thought.
But he sees the intricate mask-
not the battles she's fought.

Her masquerade is over-
as she reaches for the gun.
She pulls the icy trigger-
reality has won.

*sigh* Okay, I know it wasn't interesting at all- but it was a post, and I hadn't posted in forever.

"Rain, Rain, go away.." >_< Shut. Up. Little girl- I want it to rain.

Alright- so right now, it's very cloudy at my house and I'm hoping that it will rain. >_<>

~ "Singin' in the rain..." Believe me, singing and dancing in the rain (no matter your amount of talent) is so much fun! Turn up your favorite song, and rock it!

** Some songs that work for me are:
+Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds- The Beatles
+I am the Walrus- The Beatles
+Show me What I'm Looking for- Carolina Liar
+1,2,3,4- Plain White T's

~ Play in the puddles! Put on those rain boots and stomp your anger away! (Don't be afraid to get down and dirty!) ^_^

~ Find a somewhat dry spot to read, write, or meditate. To me, the sounds of rain is very calming... -_-

~ DON'T MOVE! O_o I'm serious, let the wind blow away your worries- the rain wash away your tears, just let nature comfort you. It's more spiritual than crazy, trust me. >_< *flicks your nose*

It's all fun and games until a charity reaches their goal, isn't it?

Ah, okay, after having my neighbor and his friend try to drown me, I'm ready to write. Let's DO THIS! >_< *insert motivational air punch here*

Okay, so earlier today I discovered a new social networking site called SocialVibe. There, you create a profile just like any other social site, except you also choose a charity you wish to support. When you perform certain acts around the site... you earn points! *This is where you say: Whee!* Those points will tell the sponsor you chose to donate a certain amount of money to your cause. Cool right? I know. *sizzle* ^_^

But anyway, check it out people...! It's a great way to raise money for charity, without giving money or leaving your home. (Damn, we're lazy.)

What are you waiting for? Pigs to fly? Well guess what? Swine Flu has come and gone... so move it! >_< http://www.socialvibe.com/ And once you're there- add me! (i_heart_wicca) ^_^

What am I Staring at?!?

*sigh* I'm warning you all right now- I'm not a happy camper. Why? Because my father is a complete @ss. UGH! *slams head against computer* Alright, I'm done. -_- Anyways... I'm not really in the mood to write a complete article tonight, so I'm going to show off a poem that may spark some thought. Enjoy! ^_^

I once knew a girl who would just stand there and stare.
At anyone or anything, she seemed not to care
She'd stare at the ground,
She'd stare at the sky.
She'd stare at you for hours, and you'd never know why.
But after winning the local staring contest,
she finally gave her eyes a well-deserved rest.

~ Staring Girl by: Tim Burton

I'm often caught staring- but I don't even realise it. I can stare at someone for 10 min. straight and not even think a single thought about them. Am I too, a Staring Girl? o_o

I know this article was rather boring- but stay tuned for tomorrow!

"No, no- go on. I always yawn when I'm interested."

**The tips given in this article are mainly for entertainment- but if you feel the desire to try them, be my guest...**

Well- because I'm writing tonight's post so late... I'm going to make it quick. Why not make it long anyway? Because I don't have to. ;P

Alright- so today's mini topic is "polite conversation". A very random choice, I know, but when my rival father kept babbling at dinner this evening- I felt I had no choice but to write about this.

So first of all, what exactly is "polite conversation"? It's generally small talk during an awkward silence between two people. Depending on the cause of "awkwardness" between the two people, the conversations can be very dreary or somewhat natural as the two emit a sense of fake normality. Also, "polite conversation" often occurs after a disagreement or dramatic event that involves those in the "polite conversation". Now that we're clear on what it is- I'm going to try to give tips on how to survive it...

  1. If you haven't been trapped in P.C. yet- busy yourself with food, music, or a similar activity that will show the other person you're not interested in conversation.
  2. If caught, don't give in just yet- hint with signs of boredom to lure them away.

  3. Still not working? Disengage. Simply don't talk to the person- give a nod every now and then if you must.

  4. Being impolite not your style? Talk to the person- and if there was a dramatic event between you two, talk it out. If you're going to have to engage with this person, make use of it.

  5. And lastly, if you find that you still end up acting like people from 1950's suburbia- just grin and bear it. Soon enough- the person will leave or you'll find something to do. If not- well, a confrontation of how annoying they are or ignoring that person may be necessary.

I would love to hear any stories of "polite conversation" you may have endured...!

Your Everyday Scandal

Let me start off by reciting the following quote: "My existence is a scandal." ~Oscar Wilde.

What does that quote mean to you? Can you relate? Are you offended? What's your thoughts??

...
... Thinking time... ^_^ lala lala lala
...

I took notes when I thought about the quote and here's uh... my "interesting" first reaction.
~"Holy bones, that saying is now my motto!" O_O (Obviously I enjoyed the quote.)

Okay, let's cut the crap. I thought I would share the quote by Oscar Wilde with you because that's exactly how I feel on a day-to-day basis and would love to share that annoying, but downright thrilling experience with you.

You see, when your family is tearing apart at the seams, you can't fit in at school, and a shadowed past lingers in your memories- something's got to give. And let me tell you- it let lose like a Tasmanian devil. I fell into a new social status, shifted into a Gothic style, shared my hushed fiery views (uh, like right here..?) and refused to bow to any social standard. And while all of that occurred, my heart was torn again and again, my mind toyed with like prey, and depressing thoughts caged my desperate happiness. Scandalous? You tell me.

But what I want to know now, is how they're scandalous. Do they fall into the 7 deadly sins? Are they unlawful? I don't think so, do you? So really... what is a scandal?

~*~Aradia/Justine~*~

I want to know what you find to be a "scandal" and how you justify it!

See you on the flip side!

Crazy girl say wha'?

Answer me this: Who are you? No, I don't have Alzheimer's... just answer the question. Who are you? I'll give you some time to think about that... don't just scroll down- THINK. -_-

...
...
...

Finished thinking? Probably not. Because if you actually thought about your answer, you would have realised- the more you thought about it- that you know nothing. Your answer depends entirely of what other people think of you, isn't it? For example, are you smart? I'm guessing you're thinking back on how you performed in school- what grades you got. Grades that were given by other people. You see? Your own personal thoughts about yourself, your free mind, is controlled daily. I'm not trying to twist in propaganda, but seriously consider what I just said: Everything you know about your own personal being, is information from someone else.

... Now how can you change that? Don't think back on previous comments about you. Don't base every little aspect of your life on what someone else thinks. You want to wear those sneakers that according to your best friend- make you look 12 years old but you think they're comfortable? Wear them. Simple as that.

So consider this post the next time you get self-conscious about anything you do- because guess what? Being self-conscious is an illusion. You feel that way because you're afraid of what other people think- it's not a part of you. Therefore, why feel it?

Tell me your thoughts- I love to hear them all... good or bad.

"Be yourself, by yourself- away from me."

Greetings to all who take time to read my ramblings, I honor your courage. ^_^ I know I haven't posted in what seems like forever- so I'd like by bringing you up to date.

The following events have occured lately:

*Got a boyfriend... amazing. >_<
*Registered for High School
*Found myself
*Recently gave a graduation speech... =^_^=

Well, that's basically what's happened since I last wrote... if you want to know all of my thoughts in between my last post and now, go to my Twitter at: http://twitter.com/i_heart_wicca
...
Anyways- the topic for today is: confidence. Yes, a very serious yet random topic, but it's my blog so shush it! >_<

To begin, I'd like to give two definitions. One comes from WebsterWebster: The state of being certain. If one were to follow this definition literally, they would surely believe that they have to know all the answers in life to be ''certain''. But as the human interpretation shows- that's not the context we use. Society takes the word confidence and transforms it into several acts. You knowthe current one? Swag. Like Swagger. Quite similar actually, for "swag" is referred to as "to conduct oneself in an arrogant manner or walk with overbearing self-confidence". Now today, we use "confidence" and "swagger" in the same context because we believe they are similar. If they are so similar, then it's apparent that "confidence" is the state of arrogance as well as being certain? So tell me, are you confident? Do you have your own swag? That's obviously debatable.

If you have any thoughts on today's topic... let me know! I'd love to hear from you! ^_^

The World Has Officially Been Bitten

Twilight the movie has left the world Bitten... Are YOU ready?

It's true. Twilight, a best-selling young adult novel was recently released in movie theatres around the world on November 21st. (Pardon me) *faints*

Well, now that I got that out of system, I think I'll move on now...

For those of you who don't know about Twilight, (meaning you lived on a secluded iceberg in the Arctic ocean for the last four years) Twilight, is basically the four-book story of a young girl and a young vampire boy who accidentally fall in love, forever putting Bella in danger. (I'm not giving away anymore than THAT. X-P

OK, so, Twilight the movie was released on Nov. 21st, and I went to see it immediately. Let me tell you something, the line to enter the Theatre, stretched from the door, around the theatre and almost spilled into the parking lot! Even though we were at the end of the line, the line moved by extremely quickly and we were given the choice of theatres! (Sorry, a blog brag moment.)

Well, once we purchased our $44 worth of junk food and made it back to our seats, we patiently waited through the 10 extra minutes of previews. (I guess they figured Twilighters wouldn't walk out, so they squeezed in double the amount of commercials.)

ANYWAY, Twilight was SPECTACULAR! Even though I had already read Twilight at least four times, it still kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the entire film. It's not like they just made Twilight the book, the movie. It was Twilight the movie. They added surprising scenes, switched the settings, and added fresh conversations as well. If I had to rate this film, I would most definetly rate it ***** out of *****. And if you haven't seen the movie, or even read the books, this movie is a must see! (Hey- if you don't believe me, look at the facts! 70.5 million on just opening weekend! How about THAT? Hmm?) Thought so.

If you decide to see the Twilight movie, enjoy! If you already saw it? Support the film by buying Twilight on DVD! (Also, keep an eye out for New Moon the movie, Summit Entertainment announced it's production the day after Twilight's release! YAY!) X-D

Religious Injustice- Including my BIGGEST secret!

I'm sorry I haven't written in a long time guys, I've been busy writing my awesome short story for Language Arts class... X-x (It took FOREVER!) ANYWAY, today's topic is: religious persecution and discrimination. Wow, that takes a long time to type! (Already exhausted)

Okay, so I'm guessing most of my readers do not have a religion or are of Non Pagan faith, correct? You don't know what that is? *sigh* A.K.A. Christians, Catholics, etc. Alright, now that we got that out of the way, we can get back on track. Many people in America are of non Pagan faith or do not believe in a deity at all. Only a small percentage of people in America are Pagan. *Anything but Christian, Catholic etc.* People often dismiss Pagans as evil because we do not believe in their idea of a supreme deity. I bet you think it's not important right? I bet you're going to leave my blog after this sentence because you think this is just anti-religion article. Wrong. Religious Persecution and discrimination is just as bad as racism. Yep, racism. (I'm not racist by the way.) People of Pagan faith face cruel jokes, violence, divorce, unemployment, and death because someone wouldn't accept them for who they were. I face this everyday of my life.

Yep, everyday of my life I deal with the constant pain of my parents not accepting a piece of my soul. Everyday I am forced to sit back and hold my tongue during a joke about a witch. Everyday I hold back my deepest secret to my friends and classmates. EVERYDAY I have to force myself to keep going in life. I am not the only one. Thousands of Americans are secretly suffering because of discrimination. Does anyone do anything? Does anyone try to cope? Of course we do! Rights have been passed, laws followed, organizations, etc. We are doing all we can to stop the madness but it keeps increasing from our efforts.

So, here's the major secret you're all waiting for... I'm Wiccan. I'm a teenage girl who believes in a god and goddess sharing the power together. I believe the deities are found within nature. Therefore, I worship nature. I do not believe in a devil. I am training in astrology and the fundamentals of being Psychic. I will not harm others because it will come back to me threefold. In other words, I'm a Witch. Yep, a WITCH.

Tempest Smith was only 12 years old when she died. How? You ask... Religious Discrimination. Her fellow classmates tormented everyday for being Wiccan. She often complained to the Administration, but no action was taken. One day before school, she locked herself in her room and hung herself with a scarf. They police found her diary with entry after entry of despicable antics from the students at Lincoln Park Middle School. The guilty students were questioned, but nothing happened. This isn't just a one time case. This is occurring all over the world. To this day, many are haunted by Tempest's story and take it to heart. Do you?

Take my words and let them guide you to a religious discrimination free world. Please, for the sake of your fellow Americans. For the sake of your neighbors. For the sake of your friends. For the sake of your classmates. For the sake of Tempest. For the sake of me.
